Carrie Chen, Piano
Carrie Chen began piano study at the age of five and shows her musical talent shortly after. Carrie likes listening to and playing music of many styles.
Her favorite composers are Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Bach and Schostakovich. She is currently studying under the guidance of Ilya Kazantsev. At age seven,
Carrie performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall as a finalist in Olympic Challenge Competition in 2010. This year, she also performed in Concert
Festival Winner's Recital at Rose Studio at Lincoln Center. She loves sharing her music with a big audience.

Ayano Goto, Piano
Christian Wong began taking piano lessons when he was 5 years old.  He is currently a student of Mr. Vladimir Polezhayev. Less than a year ago he has
started taking violin lessons as well, with Mr. Anton Polezhayev.  Besides performing at various local venues on Long Island, Christian has played this
past spring at Merkin Hall, as a winner of Concert Festival 2011.  When he is not playing an instrument, he enjoys reading and playing tennis or table
tennis with his dad.
Ayano Goto was born in Japan where she started her music career. When she moved to the United States in 3rd grade, she started to take the piano
seriously. She got a 100 perfect score for all her piano NYSSMA scores, and she was chosen alternate for the level 6 NYSSMA piano showcase last year
as well as this year. She won the New York Concert Festival competition where she was chosen to play at Carnegie Hall as an award. Some of her
concerts include places like Carnegie Hall as mentioned before, Steinway Hall, Alice Tully Hall etc. She also plays the violin and she is in the
Metropolitan Youth Orchestra. Except for music she likes to hang out with her friends, draw or play tennis. She is enjoying her music career.

Piano Duo: David Kimyagarov & Allen Nektalov
David Kimyagarov, was born in 2002. When he was 7 years old he began his piano studies as a student of Ariel Davydov. He is Winner of Concert
Festivals 2010 and 2011. In March of 2010, as a talented young pianist, David played at Ida K. Lang Recital Hall at Hunter College for Performing Arts. In
April of 2011, David played a piano duet with Allen Nektalov at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center. Every several month Allen and David participate
with solo and duet programs in concerts by class of Ariel Davydov at the Festival Hall of Congress of Bukharian Jews of The USA and Canada.
Allen Nektalov, was born in 2003. When he was 6 years old he began his piano studies as a student of Ariel Davydov. Winner of Concert Festivals 2010
and 2011, Allen performed at Winners' recital at Daniel and Joanna S. Rose Studio at Lincoln Center in May, 2010. The following year, Allen played as a
soloist and in duo with David Kimyagarov at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center.

Michele Wong, Piano Solo
Michelle Stern, violinist, is a seven years old of New York. She began her violin studies at the age of four with her mother, Anna Heifetz, a distinguished
violinist and teacher in her own right. At age 5, Michelle won her first medal awarded at Carnegie Hall by the New York Music Competition. In 2009
Michelle won an “Honorary Mention Award” from the Alexander and Buono International String Competition and her performances at the Russian Culture
Festival of Long Island were broadcasted on RTVi and RTV respectively. By the age of 6, Michelle had already performed five performances at Carnegie
Hall as a winner of the first prize in the 13th New York Music Competition, second prize in the American Protégé International Piano and String
Competition 2010, as well as a winner of the Concert Festival International 2010. In May 2010 Michelle was invited for an interview on the Public
Broadcast Station as a guest of Artscene with Shirley Romaine. In 2011 Michelle was awarded first prize by the American Protégé International Piano
and Strings Competition 2011 and invited to perform in their March Carnegie Hall Showcase in addition to her performances at Carnegie Hall, Merkin
Hall and Rose Center Showcases of the Concert Festival International 2011.
Michele Wong is twelve years old and has started her piano instruction at the age of 6. She is currently studying with Mrs. Yelena Polezhayev and has
performed in Queens, on Long Island, and recently, the Polish Consulate. As a winner of Concert Festival in 2010 and 2011, she has played at Carnegie
Hall and Merkin Hall. Most recently, she has performed as a soloist with the Virtuosi Academy Players Orchestra the third movement from Haydn's piano
concerto in D major. She aspires of a career in music, and when she is not practicing, she loves to read, write and draw.

Miyu Imai, Violin
Miyu Imai began practicing Violin when she was five years old (2005) with Ms. Naoko Tanaka.In May 2011, Miyu performed at Concert Festival (at Rose
studio of Lincoln Center). Miyu is currently a Juilliard pre-college student .

Beatrice Liang-Gilman, Piano
Beatrice Liang-Gilman started studying piano at the age of 4, with Mrs. Jolanta Szewczyk of Yorktown, Virginia. After moving to New Jersey, she briefly
studied with Mrs. Malvina Potop, before joining the studio of Prof. Ingrid Clarfield in 2009. Beatrice has played in Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall as a
2011 Concert Festival winner and for the 2010 and 2011 Golden Key Music Festival Gold Medal Recital. She played in Lincoln Center Alice Tully Hall as
a 2009 and 2010 Cecilian Music Club Young Artists Competition winner. Musical achievements include 2nd place (2007) and 1st place (2008) in the
Virgina Music Teachers Association State Competition, Young Pianists Honors Recital for the 2010 Piano Teachers Congress of New York, and High
Honors in the 2009 – 2011 New Jersey Music Teachers Association Spring Audition. Beatrice played benefit concerts in the 2010 NJMTA Children
Helping Children Performathon, the 2011 Japan Benefit Concert, and in 2011 with friends in a group The Good Notes at four senior citizen homes in
central New Jersey. Beatrice is also a competitive swimmer who regularly gets to championships, and an excellent student whose favorite subject is
math. She loves to read books, and be with friends.
